September 19, 2019
Manila Tytana Colleges (Tytana) pulled off a huge victory at the grand opening of the Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA) Season 11 that took place September 19 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Led by its president and Tytana`s AVP and director for student affairs Ruel dela Rosa, ISAA continues to promote sports and student athletes` development among 11 members schools namely Airlink International Aviation College, FEATI University, ICCT Colleges, Immaculada Concepcion College, La Consolacion College, Manila Adventist College, Manila Tytana Colleges, PATTS College of Aeronautics, Philippine Women`s University, Treston International College, and Trinity University of Asia.
The highlight of the ceremony was the parade of teams and muses, spiced up by the Miss ISAA 2019 competition afterward. Tytana`s bet Suzette Anne Sablad earned the crown and was hailed Miss ISAA 2019, setting a record of four-peat wins. Sablad`s victory succeeding Shaina Molina (2018), Jeremie Villacencio (2017), and Alex Que (2016) fulfilled a historic winning streak in the competition.
The Tytana College Men`s Basketball Team had its first striking win for this season in a close fight against the Airlink International Aviation College, 54-52.
Tytana has started with a bang in the dynamic league, and it has a solid goal to see it through the end, vowing to live its battle cry this year: `Finish Strong!`
