BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTANCY
The BS Accountancy (BSA) provides a foundation of knowledge, skills, values, and ethics that enables students to become Certified Public Accountants or CPAs with high standards of competence, objectivity, and integrity. Backed up by lectures by adjunct professors, the program is designed to equip students with the capacity in decision making and strategy formulation.
The primary goal of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is to produce highly competent professional accountants capable of making positive contributions in the business and accounting industry. The BSA program provides a strong foundation of professional knowledge, technical competency, communication skills, values and ethics that enable students to become Certified Public Accountants with high standards of competence. integrity and objectivity.
Tytana recognizes the need to produce graduates who are fit for the industry requirements. The BSA curriculum is designed to develop students based on the current demands of the industry. Because of this, adjunct professors are regularty invited to share real life applicability of the theories and concepts that the students are leaming. This strengthens the learning of the students because lectures are enhanced with the sharing of experts from their actual practices. Real life cases are also provided to develop the student`s capacity in decision making and strategy formulation. With the strategic position of Tytana in the Metrobank Group of Companies, BSA students are also well exposed in various industries such as Metrobank, PS Bank, First Metro Investment Corporation, Orix Metro Leasing and Finance Corporation, Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation, and Global Business Power Corporation to name a few. Besides their exposure in the Metrobank Group of companies. students are also exposed to various audit and accounting firms through their Business Internship Program which gives them the opportunity to experience real accounting and audit work.
Students also undergo an Intensive Board Review Program where they are carefully prepared on all board exam subjects to ensure their success in the CPA Board Examinations. Well renowned and respected accounting reviewers are invited to further strengthen their preparations in becoming Certified Public Accountants.
